Philosophy

Total transparency is crucial in all my business relationships.

Alex Patchett-Joyce
I set up the workshop and project management business having studied at West Dean College. There I graduated with a post graduate Diploma in Ceramic, Glass and Related Materials and continued my studies, graduating with an MA in Conservation Studies from Sussex University.
Before coming to my current career in conservation, I worked in the City of London for over 20 years. I gained a wealth of experience in project management, running teams of people, marketing and business management. I have used this past experience along with my more recent extensive studies to complete successful projects such as the reconstruction and restoration of a 1600's ceramic tiled stove for which I recently won the much-coveted Nigel Williams Prize.
I am a member of the Icon CGG committee and I am its Conference Organiser, a member of Icon, a Friend of BADA, life member of the National Trust and Friend of the V & A.
I am working towards accreditation through the PACR (Professional Accreditation of Conservator-Restorers) scheme managed by the National Council for Conservation-Restoration.
